540 Round Can - 7.62x51mm L2A2 Ball Surplus Ammo from Malaysia - 146 Grain Bi-metal FMJ - Brass Case Berdan Primer

Nice clean L2A2 mil-spec 7.62x51 surplus ammunition in original military ammo cans. The cans are M2A1 type commonly called a 50 cal can. Each can is neatly stenciled with the military markings. The ammo is 1980s vintage, mostly 1984 from what I have seen. It features attributes such as a brass case, a non-corrosive berdan primer that is non-reloadable and a lead core bullet that has a magnetic bi-metal jacket.  Packaging is 13x40 round boxes, and one 20 round box, making a total of 540 rounds per can. This is a new item here at SGAmmo, in 16 years of the ammo business I had never had it before, but I did a bit of google searching about this ammo and it seems to be very well liked from reviews on gun forums from years past. I have added a lot of pictures of this item so you can see it from just about any angle

I was using my C308/PTR91/HK91/G3. I had all connecting holes @100yards with this Malaysia 146g Military Surplus Ammo. I had my doubts at first about this ammo, but not 1 single failure and good accuracy from 160rnds fired. I was using the Primary Arms 1-6x24 ACSS Scope on my C308. Once i zeroed in the rifle the real fun began. I will be buying 2 more 540rds cans of this ammo before it is all gone. SGAMMO please don't raise the price of this ammo now that we know that its good ammo.
This ammo is exactly as advertised and an exceptional value for the money. My can was sealed so tight I heard air whoosh in when I opened it. The ammo is pristine and all 1984 from what I've seen thus far. It is a deal you won't want to pass up.
Ordered 2 can's. Received 3-84 and 4-84. If it's anything like the Malaysian 7.62 ball I've shot in the past it should be just excellent! As usual excellent pricing from SG, fast shipment, everything you could ask for!
Ammo came packaged well. The can was hard to open but the seal was not damaged. The ammo fired great through a CMMG 18inch upper on a PSA lower with a rifle stock. Able to get 3 round 1/2in groups at 150 meters using a Trijicon 3.5x35 ACOG. Would like to get longer shots but range length is limited. Very good clean ammo.
My order arrived in 3 days. Already shot 60 rounds and its smooth feeding, accurate, and very clean. It took only one patch to wipe out the barrel. Only one patch to wipe barrel, one to dry it, and one to oil it. Dosent get any better. The old 556 malaysian ammo, and this 308, were likely made at the same plant that now is supplying the wolf gold 223! Nothing beats brass and this ammo is great.
I Purchased two Cans very happy with it and they looks very clean just ordered another one I'm trying to see if I can order another one soon.
Ammo is in amazing condition for being 33 years old. And price is right also.
I'VE bought a case of the Malaysian 5.56 milsurp ammo from 1984, and it was very nice stuff. Clean burning and accurate. That's why I'm ordering 2cans of this
