Customer Reviews

Wolf military classic 6.5 Grendel seem to be accurate for a cheap ammo, the biggest problem I've found is high primers and thicker than normal lacquer coating causes misfires
I had a bunch of rounds either crack down the side of the casing or didn't fire at all even though the primer was clearly struck wouldn't recommend these rounds go higher end and spend a little more money to get better quality and bigger bang for your buck (no pun intended)
150 rounds so far through a Shilen HBAR 20" 1:9 twist. 200+ yards and blowing away spray can tops and 4 inch plates. No cycling issues and not much for cleaning needed compared to range trips with just brass. Have been told that it takes roughly 12000 on mid-tier barrels before they need replacement due to steel casing. Hornady brass case $1-1.25 per round X 12000 = $12000-15000 Wolf steel case $.23 per round x 12000 = $2760 By the time I use that much steel I'll just buy/make 4-5 other Grendel Rifles
.23cents a round for 2moa at 240 yds? Yes sir, all day long. 20" barrel. Worth every stinkin' penny. SG makes good on orders too, fast and accurate service.
Great value ammo for the 6.5 G. It is very accurate and only have had an issue with one round so far due to a damaged primer.
I've shot this from my 18" Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel 18" Lightweight (fluted barrel) Upper with 1:7.5 twist rifling. At 100 yards, I got ~2 MOA accuracy. Average velocity was 2486 fps, with a standard deviation of 25. (Temperature 45°F, Humidity 82%, Elevation 200 ft). This is the best accuracy I've ever seen from Wolf ammo, which usually shoots 3 MOA or worse in other calibers.
My 4th case will be delivered tomorrow. This shoots great from both my Grendels. I can't reload practice ammo at these prices so kudos to SGAmmo.
Great target and practice Ammo. I just built a 6.5 Grendel and I purchase Wolf/TulAmmo and other steel for plinking and practice. You cant beat the price especially if you like to practice a lot at the range. I've yet to experience any issues with this ammo and SGAmmo is a great place to purchase from, fast shipping and great prices. The berdan primer is much harder than the standard brass and if ever experience issues with light strikes simply change your hammer spring with a Wolf Enhanced or other stiff spring and possibly an enhanced firing pin. This will ensure that your hammer penetrates the hard primer enough everytime. I run enhanced spring and pin in all of my AR's so the hard primer is never an issue!
I have this ammo and shoots pretty accurate even at 300yrs.
Shot 1 MOA with this ammo at 100 yards out of a Adam arms 16 inch barrel with 20 mile per hour wind. SGAmmo is legit you order and they send it. Some ammo companies charge your CC and 6 weeks later you get a shipping notice and it still takes a week.
