.223 REM – 69gr Sierra HPBT MatchKing

The hollow point boat tail design provides that extra margin of ballistic performance match shooters need to fire at long ranges under adverse conditions.

ADI has developed a new line of ammunition that leaves your barrel at the same high velocity at extreme temperature ranges. No matter if it’s scorching hot or freezing cold, Australian Outback ammunition delivers consistent extreme high velocity and ultra-reliability you demand in all shooting circumstances.  For the technically minded, it’s called Ballistic Temperature Independence (BTI). But all you really need to know is Australian Outback ammunition will never let you down.

This ammo made me keep my Remington SPS Tactical .223 rifle. Before I tried this, the best groups I got were around 1.25". With this, I am grouping .75" easily. Too bad I can't find it any more. I should have bought 10 cases!
Best factory .223 ammo, that is the most accurate, that I have used in 30 years of .223 long range shooting!
The greatest .223 in 69 grain. Please order more and advise me. Thank You, Edward Webb
Excellent ammo! I've shot this from a LaRue 20" Stealth, BCM 16" SS410, KAC 16" Mod 1. It easily shot sub-moa 10 round groups through the stainless barrels, and 1.3-1.4 moa through the chrome-lined KAC.
Out of all the Ammo I have used in my MK-12 clone 18" Black Hole Hole Weaponry barrel 1 in 8 twist this is by far the best excluding my handloads. Dime to nickel size grouping at 100yds. Burns clean. Packaging is a tad overboard IMHO. May have to pull some apart to see what the exact specs are to duplicate if I get motivated.
My BCM Mk-12 with 1/8 twist 18" barrel absolutely loves this ammo. I can achieve 1/2" 3 round groups and 3/4" 5 round. IMI Razor core is the next best thing to this. SGammo please keep this in stock!
Great performing ammo. Regularly turns in half inch to three quarter inch groups out of my k16 1/9 twist.
bought 400 rds. Just went to the range to sight in for a mid range (300-600yd) clinic with the AR. 1 in 7 Twist. The ammo performed great with most 5 shot groups being approx under 3/4". Not unexpectedly this is a huge improvement over Federal American Eagle 55 gr FMJ. Of course AE is meant to be burned up at shorter ranges than I intend to shoot for this clinic. I just ordered another 400 rounds as I'm very pleased with the Outback 69 grn Sierra MK loads for my rifle.
I don't know why anybody would buy any other match grade ammo. This stuff shoots as accurate and sometimes better than other ammo costing twice as much! 1/2 moa 3 shot group and 3/4 to 1" 5shot group, 1:7 16" Daniel Defence 556 CL barrel. Its the only ammo I'm buying now
OK, let's first talk price. $0.55 a round when the IMI equivalent is $0.70. Why? Currency. The Aussie $ is in the pits versus the $US so take advantage of it. DOWNSIDES: It's over packaged. I'm not the Green Fairy, but really? Second, on the box they claim 2,959 FPS. Not even close. I got 2,617 for a 5-shot string. UPSIDES: Extremely accurate. From my Colt 20" AR15 Varminter, first group 0.875" then second 0.714"at 100 yards. Equates my best handload and honestly has a lot of potential. An absolute steal IMHO...
