Very good ammunition for shooting with suppressor. Runs well in Beretta 92. Would not feed well in semi or full auto in an Uzi. Fed and ran well in full auto MP40. Sub sonic 9 IMI ammunition is available from SGAmmo that has a round tip and might run better in an Uzi but is more costly.
My second favorite 9mm subsonic ammo next to the Fiocchi 158 grain (which is also more expensive). I've fired thousands of rounds suppressed through my stock Glock 17, 19, Sig P226, Kel-tec Sub2000 Gen 2, and PTR MP5 clone without a single issue. I can't speak to accuracy since I'm almost exclusively doing rapid fire on steel targets, but it's been good enough to reliably make hits on 8 inch steel targets using my PTR with a red dot out to 50+ yards (and I have no doubt it's capable of smaller targets if required). Excellent value for suppressed shooting.
Since my department swapped over to the 9mm from the .357 sig about 4 years ago, we have used this for our practice ammunition to replicate the external ballistics of out 147gr duty load. This ammunition has been flawless in about 90k rounds in all conditions encountered on the range and during various competitions. I've worked throughout the state during firearms training in several venues (schools, the state academy, LE-specific competitions), and would say of the ammunition types I've seen represented, this Lawman 147gr TMJ has had the fewest issues. I can recall zero ammunition-related failures in our duty pistols up to this point. I cannot say the same for some other makes of ammunition I have seen at other agencies in similar firearms. SG ammo has been great in supplying our needs.
Ran a couple of hundred rounds through a MP-40 and an Uzi, both full auto and semi. Ran flawlessly. Heavy sub-sonic rounds run well and fast in full auto guns. Will be buying more. I prefer these heavy rounds to all lighter weight rounds for recreational shooting. They build more chamber pressure and cycle more reliably.
I ran this through my Glock 19 with a Ti-Rant 45M silencer. Nice and quite with silencer on. It ran flawless and cycled my Glock perfectly. I have ran other brands of 115 gr and have had problems cycling with the silencer. I will be ordering a lot more now that I know it cycles well, Thanks
I really like this Spear Lawman 147 gr. TMJ for running my suppressed 9mm Pistols. 2,000 rounds so far and I cannot recall a single misfeed. Accuracy has been excellent shooting at defensive ranges out to 30 feet and also shooting stell at 100yards. Since some guns are particular about the ammo you feed them here is what I shoot it through for comparison purposes. I have limited use to my 3 suppressed pistols; HK VP9, Walther PPQ M2, and CZ P-09. In these guns, cycling and operation have been top notch. Reordering case 3 now.
Excellent! Shot 500 rounds of this stuff. No problems. Non-magnetic.
My carry weapon is an Arex Rex Zero 1S and my ammo is 147 grain hollow point Winchester Ranger, so I was looking for training ammo that would shoot like my defensive rounds. The Speer ammo cycles flawlessly. This gun is known for its ability to run almost anything without failure, but I'm still impressed with the accuracy and performance of Speer Lawman. Thanks to all at SGAmmo for the great price and service! Your reputation is well-earned.
This training ammo cycles flawlwess in my R51. It doesn't like low powered ammo so I suspect this is slightly hot though not marked +P... I'll buy more!
Great Ammo
