Custom made ammo from Barnaul in Russia. We had the factory make this ammo just for SGAmmo, using a traditional lacquered sealed case with mil-spec sealant applied to the case mouth and primer pocket to waterproof the cartridge, and to improve long term storage life.To top it off we had the factory use a hard hitting 55 grain soft point bullet for enhanced terminal performance / expansion, making this a better load for hunting or personal protection than standard FMJ. We have seen some gel tests on the Barnaul 55 grain soft point bullet and it actually provides some impressive results. We hope you enjoy this ammo. The projectile is bi-metal jacketed, lead core and magnetic.

We had this ammo made in 55 grain FMJ recently and people loved it but we got lots of requests for a soft point load. We hope you support this product by buying some so we can have it made again in the future can continue to offer this ammo option

My son took me out for fathers day to shoot and we tried it out in a PSA 10.5" AR pistol with a carbine length gas system, A 16" Rock River M4 Clone Carbine, and a 20" PSA AR-15 A4 clone Rifle. Flawless performance in all three barrel lengths, very controllable, and manageable muzzle flash. My groups were noticeably tighter the some brass case ammo, and my son was getting very tight groupings from his controlled double taps from the carbine. Its a good practice round too. The G1 Ballistic coefficient of Barnaul 55 grain 0.223 SP of 0.23 mimics the Speer 55 grain SP G1 BC of 0.222 that the points of impact are nearly identical making this an excellent practice round for the more expensive Speer round. I am impressed enough to buy two more cases while its on special. G. Edington
