Customer Reviews

This is what I use for the 600 yard leg of NRA Highpower XTC match. I've progressed from Marksman to Expert and I'm on the cusp of Master in part to the quality of this ammunition. I've said that when I shoot better than my ammunition performs I'll reload again but I haven't yet, this is good stuff and worth the cost.
This is some hot, hard hitting ammo. Chronoed at 2802 from my 18" Faxon match barrel with 21 SD and 77 ES. Gets consistent 1 MOA performance. Magtech 77gr is actually more accurate in my gun but shoots 50 fps slower. Pick up both and see which is better for you...
This is a great value and a nice alternative to the black hills equivalent. I chrono-ed the ammo from a 10.5 in barrel and I was getting around 2400 fps which is about what it is suppose to be out of a short barrel. I was getting around 2in moa at 100 yards but it was shitty outside, lots of wind and rain.On a better day I have no doubt this stuff is capable of 1in moa to sub moa accuracy.
Outstanding ammo. Performs just as well as the very pricey Black Hills 5.56mm NATO 77 gr. SMKHPs. In fact, my SPR seems to prefer it to the Black Hills ordnance. Ordering LOTS of this stuff!
Read a lot of good reviews and last time at range had a one MOA group form my MK12'ish SPR with 1/8 twist. Today at range best group was .62 MOA at 100 meters, no group larger than 1,05 MOA better than Hornady 75 grain Superformance. Glad I ordered a LOT of this! Wish we had this when I was active duty 1982-1990.
Darn good ammo. My X-95 and LMT NZ-16 love this stuff. Accurate, dependable, and affordable it is a premium ammunition for your 5.56. Wes
Just shot this at the range last weekend and was happy with how well it shot and how clean it was. I had good groups up to 500 yards. Thank you sgammo for shipping out so fast look forward to more business with you.
Decent quality ammo for the price. Theres much better Mk262 variants out there, but for much higher prices. I was just under MOA (4, 5 round groups) with my AR15 with a Rainier Arms Ultramatch Mod2 16" 1:7.7 with NF 2.5-10x24. Avg velocity was 2738, SD was 20.9, ES was 83. Velocities were taken with Magnetospeed V3, 20 rounds chronographed; Temp: 78, Station Pressure was 27.82 inHg. This is going to have a relatively large vertical spread at distance. But hitting full IPSC targets at 600-800 yards consistently is manageable. May not be pretty, but you will get impacts.
Fantastic ammo. Incredible sub-MOA precision using 20-in 1:7 thru PSA barrel. Reviews tell it like it is: IMI's load has good stopping power, even at 500 yds. Shop around for this load ... SGAmmo is usually the lowest priced source and ships fast, fast, fast.
Like every other IMI offering, this one shoots with excellent precision. Never had a failure to fire with IMI. While the brass can't compare with MEN, their ammo shoots clean. And, it shoots hard.
