Customer Reviews

Just ordered another case. For those of you that like me have to travel almost 50 miles one way because idiots won't allow fmj - your problem is solved. I can't at this time really afford this, but the way things are going in our Country the writing is on the wall. Though close, bottom line this load is more accurate than any LCM855=X iteration I've ever fired. I kid you not.
Just rcvd two 900 cases. Packaging is box in a box in a box style. If the lot # works like they say on AR15.com, these too are 2017 date code? I don't care, as they're fully sealed nato rounds. Quickly looking at some of the rounds, the previously noted closed OT's were not present in my lot(s). This condition has been proven by others to not affect terminal performance on targets/gel (for this round). Not to mention the "OT" on these are like 15-20 thousands, IE not hollow point. The posted gel-tests on these don't show the tips exploding! Rather the majority of the cone section seperated due to yaw, with the lead core seperating from the cone's metal jacket. They frag quite consistently at relatively low'ish velocities, yet still exhibit decent penetration. Barrier performance is not verified at this point, but it is suspected of performance between xm193/mk318-0. Not to let the proverbial cat out of the bag - this specific winchester round checks-off a lot of performance boxes for a lake-city xm855 like price point! Please feel free NOT to tell all your friends about these, as I fear SG's source may eventually dry up?
all i can say is this is very impressive stuff. this is the best 556 ammo i have run into yet i can manage groups at around 1 inch at 200 yards with my 18 in ar and if i could control my shots better i am sure i could close up that gap. if you have not tried it yet you should as it is a little more than just bang bang ammo.
This stuff is some of the very best ammo you can buy for an AR. Swedish military over run. I’ve shot just about everything you can in an AR. This shoots 1/3 MOA in my 16 inch 1 in 8 Wilde every day at 100 yards. Simply outstanding. Honestly I’ve yet to see a more accurate round.
Shot this standing through my LE6920 at 100 yds. I am 67 years old and wear glasses. Five 10 shot groups avg. 5 inch spreads. Just wish I had a phone like some that snaps clear pictures. I don't. Question now is how much more I shoot, even buying again which I'm here to do up to 2K rds., or put it up in and around my area for when the music finally stops. And it will. At this price with this performance it's the best load for social work out to certainly 100 yds. and likely 200. Your move.
Bought a case of this 2 weeks ago, getting 1/4" grouping @ 100' using a 16" 9twist barrel. No doubt the most accurate 5.56 mm I've used. The gel test shows besides great target range shooting this round will also make an excellent defense round. Will definitely order another case.
Hi everyone, I have not yet made it to the range, but watched the video on hear of the gel test, everything I saw tells me this ammo will also be an exceptional ammo for defense.
I’ve sent two cases of 900 through my Colt LE6920. All cartridges went bang, groups were good around 1”. This would be great ammo for huntings hogs or deer.
Win 5.56 62gr Open Tip USA3162W ammo-------Range test: Sunny, 84* temps, wind right to left @ 10-15mph, 100-yds, Rem 700-VTR, bolt action, 20"bbl, 1-9" twist, Leopold 6.5x20 scope, KRG stock, Labradar Chronograph........ 8-cartridges fired, Avg Muzzle Velocity: 3113fps....Groups size: .875". NOTE: I shot about 10 other cartridge brands during my shooting session, the Win Swedish made ammo performed the best and I am very pleased with the accuracy as well as the Velocity I clocked with these cartridges...they're very fast. Of course, test results will very from rifle to rifle.---Magtech CBC 5.56 62gr avg: 3034fps.----PMC X-Tac 5.56 62gr avg: 3038fps
Just test 120 rounds out of my 16 mid lenghth mutt rifle i have set up for defense. Zero hick-ups, good looking fired brass. Seems to be well done stuff. Next step is to try and capture some projectile in milk jugs. So far appears g2g
