223 Rem 55 Grain FMJ Lacquered and Sealed Steel Case Barnaul Mil-Spec Ammo

Here at SGAmmo we had Barnaul make us a custom shipment of 223 Rem ammo with traditional Russian mil-spec features including lacquered steel case and sealant applied to the case mouth and primer pocket to waterproof the cartridge, making this ammo ideal for long term storage or for use in adverse field conditions. This ammo is non-corrosive, non-reloadable, and has a bi-metal jacketed lead core bullet (magnetic projectile). Packaging is 20 rounds in a white box, 25 boxes per case of 500 rounds (2 cases sold to make a 1000 round lot). I had a chance to test fire 40 rounds of this ammo the day it came in in a Colt Government carbine AR15  and it functioned flawlessly. We hope you enjoy this custom made product.

It is surprising how accurate this ammo was out of my 10.3 AR pistol. Just as accurate as Lake City M193 out to 100 yards. No problems at all.
Just received this ammunition, it shipped very quickly and arrived well packaged. I looked at the ammunition and it is brand new. This is a perfect choice for inexpensive long term storage, it is already weatherized. Thank you SGAmmo for selling a good product at a good price. I will be back for more.
I have definitely sent thousands and thousands of rounds through a couple of my ARs that have the highest round counts. Cant recommend this enough if you shoot a high volume of rounds.
I used this Ammo for a big two-day training that I had with a group that I am in. It was very accurate and flawless. Normally I shoot hand loads, but this ammo was cheaper than I can reload and it didn't take Hours and hours. I sold this will be my go-to ammo for .223
Lacquer sealed Russian made 5.56 ammo at a great price, time to rock and roll at the range
This ammo reminded me of GT ammo, which I love using in an AK, but it was not working for my AR. So I bought 1000 rounds of Surplus .223 ammo and tested 100 rounds. I ran out of rounds before I realized and ended up spending my whole day shooting. It all performed flawlessly SGAmmo's prices are great. Thanks Sam!
I've run about 100 rounds through my Ruger AR-556 with a Velocity SC trigger. No issues, all went 'bang' and seemed accurate enough for use with my 1x prism scope. Maybe somewhat dirtier than other ammo - no big deal to me, cleans up fine.
This ammo is great. Ran a box of Wolf gold and a box of this Barnaul at 100 yards. 5 round groups. Wolf averaged 2 inches. Barnaul 1 1/2 with over half at an inch. 16 inch barrel and 3 X 9 Konus scope. Maybe I had a good day. I just bought another 1,000 rounds. As far as I am concerned the Barnaul shot the pants off the Wolf. SF 180A
I bought 1000 rounds of this ammo from SGammo. It's great ammo! My gun prefers 62grn ammo and above. So, my groups weren't too stellar, but they were still 2-3" groups. It functioned flawlessly in my PSA AR15. I shoot a .223 Wylde 18" SS barrel with a rifle length gas system. Tulammo, and wolf .223 steel cased ammo is way under powered and would short stroke in my rifle. Whereas, this ammo specially made for SGAmmo functioned flawlessly in both my AR15 rifles. My PSA AR15 ate it up with ZERO malfunctions through 200rnds so far. So, if you're in the market for great range ammo that you can get on the cheap and store up, this is it!! It's well worth the money, and beats Tulammo and Wolf ammo by a long shot.
Bought 2000rds, fired nearly 1500rds of it already and it works near flawlessly through my BCM Midlength! I did have one strange failure to feed that had to be mortared out but it fired without issue when rechambered. Sealed primer, neck and lacquered coating is a big plus as well, I will never shoot the garbage polymer coated common offerings from Wolf or Tula again! This ammo shoots as accurately as Wolf Gold at 100 yds when I checked zero. Yes this ammo is dirtier and has a distinct smell compared to brass cased but I love it, my new training ammo! Thank you SGAmmo for bringing in a quality yet affordable ammo from Barnaul! Please do all you can to import more of this hidden gem!
