Brand new ammo, looks great, will take it out to the shooting range soon. As far as service from SGAmmo goes? I ordered just before Thanksgiving and my box was in CT Saturday morning after Black Friday! Definitely impressed with this one but I have always been very happy from this company. They beat everybody else in price, service and selection of ammo so I no longer waste any time looking for ammo anywhere else, I only shop from SGAmmo.
Just got mine delivered. opened a box up and there sits in front of my eyes, bueatiful new production Privi ammo. I normally roll my own, but the load data on this ammo is really close to what I make and sometime i just get to busy in the garden to hit the bench. this case also packed up nice in a .50 cal ammo can. throw in some dessicants and you have 500 great rounds put back for the Buggaloo. I will get back to ya'll on how it shoots. /k/untryboy
Picked some up to see if it was as good as the reviews said it was and I was disappointed at all this ammo shot great and was as accurate as any others that I have tried. I will be ordering more of this from sgammo.com soon, thank you for everything sg.
This stuff is an incredible buy. Really good stuff, I'll be picking it up again when I start running low again.
Just picked up 500 more rounds after a field test of ~60. As accurate and clean as PMC bronze at a slightly lower cost, just as reliable. I was sold as soon as I hit 8 consecutive shots on an 8" at 400 yds with my Ruger American (a 1moa bolt rifle typically) after buying a few boxes of the PPU. It's the perfect ammo for plinking and taking friends to the range, while still being able to shoot accurately. Save money on the training plinking so you can spend up on match ammo for when it counts. buy this ammo over anything remanufactured or any of the vintage nato thats been sitting around rusting since the 80's. The extra pennies are earned back in time not spent cleaning and time spent enjoying hit targets.
I found this ammo to be particularly dirty in my M1A. Red flakes from the sealed primer after about 120 rounds were deposited throughout the action. I have compared it with PMC .308 ammo, which is also sealed, but much cleaner. The M1A is a bit more of a pain to clean than my other 7.62/.308 guns, so I prefer a cleaner running ammo.
Don't expect sub MOA grouping out of this ammo but it's good quality practice ammo and for 259.00 per 500 round case, that's a steal. For that price I would buy it all if I could afford to lol.
I started out by zeroing my tactical AR-10 at 100yds with Winchester Super-X 180gr Power Point ammo for the upcoming deer/elk season. I was getting frustrated because i could not group under 2 MOA and was wondering what was wrong with the gun. After checking everything over and finding nothing obvious, I switched to the Prvi Partizan 7.62x51 M80 145 grain FMJ BT Ammo and shot 100 rounds and was blown away by how well this ammo grouped. I had zero flyers and consistently shot sub MOA 5 shot groups at 100yds. I can't say how pleased I am with how well this ammo performed. I turned around today and ordered a 500 round case to make sure I have plenty on hand as this is the cheapest brass cased 7.62X51 ammo around. It just makes it that much nicer that my gun really likes it as well. I will say that I think it has more to do with the bullet weight then the ammo manufacturer as I will also try some of the Winchester Super-X 150gr Power Point ammo as well and see if the results are the same or not. But all-in-all have nothing but good things to say about this ammo.
Not a bad price, looks good, and fires and ejects well. I'm happy, and will buy more, as this is cheap brass case practice ammo.
