My M1A likes this stuff. I can only compare to PMC and IMI, cause that is all I've shot so far. It's plinking ammo so don't expect very accurate results. I hit the 18x24 gong dead center at 200 yards with no failures, or a wild round. Brass looks really nice. I like it and will be buying more.
The consistency with the loads in regards to accuracy, for MEN 7.62 is AWESOME! During warmup period this past weekend for our Super Regional Comps, I put approximately 75 rounds through my 22" Barrett MRAD .308, topped with a Schmidt & Bender 4-16x56 PM II UB scope and was paper punching, definitely MOA, out to 300 yds. I then pushed out to 350 yds. (range max on warmup), and the average 3/5 groups were 1.38" (minutes). I was absolutely impressed with the capability of the loads and the consistent hold on accuracy, especially when firing at elevated positions while using "military surplus" rounds. Also, the rounds burned extremely clean (surprisingly clean) which was another nice bonus. I had NO ISSUES with any MEN 7.62 rounds! It all fired flawlessly. As a result of last weekend, I'll definitely be buying larger quantities, on my next order. This is the perfect cartridge for target practice, dialing in your weapon, or simply plinking. SGAmmo is Absolutely Awesome. You all kick ass on customer service, shipping & prices! Great Job Sam & SGAmmo!!! Keep Kicking ASS :)
Update from the 600 yd. line. Gun, SA M1a STND iron sights, I had been shooting CBC M80 ammo. MEN is "hotter" than the CBC, chucks spent brass 4-6 feet farther than the CBC, had to take 3 MOA elevation out at 100yds. Put 10 shots in the black on a 6" pistol repair center at 100yds. (3 shots in 10 ring) Wind blew down my target at 200yds, Took a shot next to tire with a steel 12" gong to see where POI was at 200yd, adj. site and rang the gong 10 out of the next 12 shots. Can't wait to get to the 600yd range, what fun !! Great AMMO I will purchase more. I have fired 3 sessions at 600 yds. Standard 36" NRA target, I manage to keep MOST rounds in the black some 10's some just off. The range master said with 147 gr bullets that is about normal. He stated to tighten group I need to go to 168 or 175 gr. bullet to get better stability. Starting to reload for long range but for 100-300 yds. this is great ammo. PS I have fired over 300 rounds through my M1A and have not had a failure.

day one out on the range siting in my new Ruger Precision rifle. Hitting steel first day out at 1000 yards. Tight group at 100 yards.
I have a Springfield M1A that absolutely loves this German ammo. I tested several different FMJ loads by various manufacturers and this MEN 7.62 was the most accurate. It is also very clean burning and leaves little fouling, I highly recommend this ammunition.
Fantastic ammunition! Clean, sure fire, accurate and boxer primed. Fast shipping. 2MOA @100 yards in AR10 and Windham AR308
New customer and processed my first order. Ordered on Tuesday; Completed on Tuesday; Shipped on Wednesday; Received on Friday. Price, Performance, Quality. Who could ask for more? The ammo is BEAUTIFUL. If it shoots like it looks this customer will be ecstatic. Will update with shooting experience later. SGAmmo, you have a new and dedicated customer. A Texas-size THANK YOU!
I fired this ammo to sight in a new out of the box (but cleaned and lubed) Springfield Armory M1A Squad Scout at 50 yards with the iron sights. The first 3 shot group was about 3" low and 3" left. After getting the sights adjusted the MEN 7.62x51 147gr. FMJ rounds were giving about 1 1/2 MOA at 50 yards consistently with the iron sights. I haven't had a chance to take it out to 100 yds yet. I will after fitting a Vortex Crossfire II Scout scope. Obviously this ammo shot very well, it was clean and without any functioning problems. After that I fired some 150 gr. TulAmmo .308. Surprisingly that did pretty well too, about 2 MOA at 50 yds. but the POI was shifted about 1 1/2" high and 1 1/2" to the right of the centered MEN groupings. Again no function problems but the TulAmmo was a bit dirtier. Overall I highly recommend this MEN 7.62x51. SGAmmo's prices were better than anyone else I could find and their shipping is lower. The order shipped sooner than the website said it would by a day. SGAmmo is a great place from which to buy.
SedonaEd:Great ammo.Really nice brass and accurate.I like LC ammo, but this is better.
