About 500 rounds - 7.62x51 Nato M118LR Lake City Loose Pack in in cardboard case - read description

We call these "About" 500 rounds because they are loose packed at the factory and counted by weight. We do not do the packaging on these, they come like this, and experience shows these may be more or less 25 rounds so expect as few as 475 rounds but the possibility of more than 500 exists.

7.62x51 Lake City XM118LR 175 grain BTHP Loose pack ammo

Recently produced, observed headstamps have been 2015 dated but there may be newer or older ammo in the shipment, special selection available on the date of the ammo is not available.

Please keep in mind this is military contract ammo and will not have cosmetic perfection like Gold medal match, this ammo will have some spots and stains one the brass that do not effect performance. Great ammo for the guys who love US military surplus

Please keep in mind these are loose packs and the count is determined by weight. Sometimes they will be a little more and sometimes they will be a little less, but it should be within 5% of variation from 500 rounds total

Just for your info. Magpul makes a 7.62 Pmag specifically for the longer rounds. Reference LR 118 mag. Gotta keep up out there.
In reply to the anonymous reviewer about these rounds not fitting in P-mags...I literally have two P-mags loaded with M118LR rounds right now that were made by Lake City - they're for my duty platform and stay loaded. Since LC usually sells their 'factory seconds' it could be an issue with one odd batch not being seated to the correct depth that they are referring to, and hence they get sold. However, any true-to-spec dimension M118LR should function fine in P-mags.
Without starting a firestorm like I had on other forums please note that these rounds are too long for the SR-25 pattern ie P-Mag MAG291-BLK. I had 3 different batches of P-Mags along with this load, Federal GMM 7.62X51, Federal GMM .308 and Black Hills 175 g clones. None of the 4 different loads would successfully load in any of the 3 P-mags. A caliper measurement of the magazine as well as the ammo confirmed this. To solve this problem I purchased a .308 die and pushed them into the case a few thousandths of an inch. The ammo is very good but was intended for use in bolt actions and M14 mags.
