On January 12, 2019 I purchased two crates of this ammo. The ammo is in good condition with zero sign of corrosion in any of the boxes I have opened. So far all of the boxes I have opened have been steel case, but I have only shot 11 boxes, for a total of 165 rounds. I have opened about 10 more boxes just to check the condition of the ammo. Out of those 165 rounds that I shot I have had 4 failure to fires, but 3 of them did fire after putting them back in the gun for a second time. I have had 3 hangfires with two of them being barely perceptible and the third being about the amount of time it takes a percussion cap to ignite an old black powder gun. Here is the data I have collected thus far: Average speed - 2409.6 FPS Fastest - 2460 FPS Slowest - 2343 FPS Spread - 117 FPS Standard Deviation - 31.5 FPS With standard deviation, the lower the number the better. This number would be bordering on unacceptable for modern production ammo, but for 60 year old Czech ammo that's been stored in who knows what kind of conditions, it's about as to be expected. I am happy with what I have received and can highly recommend it to anyone who has had a VZ-52 for years, but no ammo to shoot in it...until now!
