480 rounds packed in an ammo can of 7.62x54R 182 Grain FMJ Yugo Surplus Ammo For Sale with Brass Cases and Non-magnetic Bullet. This is Yugoslavian Surplus 7.62X54R M30 Ball ammunition made by Prvi Partizan, mostly in 1990s vintage from what I have seen but there is older and newer ammo in the mix and no special date selection is available. This ammo comes repacked this ammo into M2A1 type cans (50 cal size) and each can has 32 boxes of 15 rounds each. Yugoslavian M30 ball ammo is rarely seen in the US commercial market yet widely regarded as the best of the best when it comes to surplus 7.62x54R ammo, and features beautiful annealed brass case construction that looks like brand new commercial ammo.  The primers are Berdan and should be expected to be corrosive and lacquer sealed to prevent moisture form penetrating the cartridge and increasing long term shelf life and serviceability of this ammo. The projectile of this fine 7.62x54R ammo is also highly desirable as the bullet is 100% non-magnetic and range safe for all those shooting ranges that do not allow magnetic projectiles. This ammo is ideal for shooting in Mosin Nagants, PSL, Dragunov, or PKM rifles. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: The 7.62×54mmR is a rimmed rifle cartridge developed by the Russian Empire and was introduced as a service cartridge in 1891. Originally designed for the bolt-action Mosin–Nagant rifle, it was used during the late Tsarist era and throughout the Soviet period to the present day. The cartridge remains one of the few standard-issue rimmed cartridges still in military use and has the longest service life of all military-issued cartridges in the world. The American Winchester Model 1895 was also chambered for this cartridge per a contract with the Russian government. The 7.62×54mmR is still in use by the Russian military in the Dragunov and other sniper rifles, as well as some modern machine guns like the PKM. Originally, the round was designated as "Трехлинейный патрон образца 1891 года" – (Three-line cartridge model of 1891). It then became widely known under the designation "7,62мм винтовочный патрон" (7,62mm rifle cartridge). The round has erroneously come to be known as the "7.62mm Russian" (and is still often referred to as such colloquially), but, according to standards, the "R" in designation (7.62 × 54 R) stands for Rimmed, in line with standard C.I.P. designations. The name is sometimes confused with the "7.62 Soviet" round, which refers to the rimless 7.62×39mm cartridge used in the SKS and AK-based (AK-47) rifles.

i was lucky to get a 480 rd.'s can last month from SGAMMO it was at my house before i even knew. my family has been buying from SGAMMO for years now cause they are great people to deal with and honest.I'm 60 yr.'s old and not too good with a computer so i have my son order for me. lol. but i can say that they have done right by us. just wish they would get some 8mm Mauser surplus ammo back in. we buy all our x39, 54r, .223, ect. we don't even go to the " seek sights " just to SGAMMO cause the shipping is fair and that's what you have to figure in when buying on-line.
Prompt delivery and condition of ammo and packaging exactly as described. Get it while you can, as a long time SG Ammo Customer have seen prices practically double in the last several years.
This is very clean 7.62 x 54R ammunition. Yes, it requires an extra step in cleaning that should be done promptly after shooting due to the corrosive Berdan primers. But it is non-magnetic and usable almost anywhere without risk of starting a fire. The 480 rd ammo can option is a fair deal and arrives in perfect condition.
