Customer Reviews

Ammo works great, i am able to bullseye womprats at 100 meters with my No4 M1/3 all day.
Best deal online period! Have searched other bulk ammo sites frequently for price comparison. Have not even seen this particular brand elsewhere. Every round has went bang! Haven't experienced any issues with extraction. The bi-metal case is actually soft. You can shave layers of metal off with a utility blade. Also I have recovered bullets from a tree stump to find that most of the copper wash was still on the projectile. This is a good sign for those concerned with throat and bore erosion! I have noted its ability to retain its shape upon impact. As far as key-holing, my 5-groove no.4 enfield has no issues what so ever. In fact, on a good day at the range I have been able to clover leaf with this ammo. Lots of research suggests not to use on a 2-groove barrel. Therefore I have not fired any of this through my Savage no.4; which is a 2-groove. All in all, great banging ammo! SGammo is the best place to buy!!!
Preformed amazing in my gun and I didn't have a single issue with it. I had good accuracy and it shot clean, I look forward to doing more business with this company and highly recommend them to everyone that buys their ammo from somewhere else. They have always had the best prices on ammo for sale online and my orders have all been correct with very fast shipping.
Used in my No. 4 enfield. Keyholes occasionally, but more notably to me, it was extremely sticky compared to brass cased ammo. Extraction was, consistently, unnecessarily difficult. I was concerned about damaging my extractor with this stuff so the few boxes I bought of it will now sit unused in the corner.
I have fired this ammo from a BSA 1918 Mark 3, and a No. 4 Mark 2. It has performed flawlessly. I can regularly hit 3 inch clays at 220 yards. SGAmmo has the best prices and the best service available online.
Follow-up: A friend of mine brought out his No. 4 Mk 1 to try this ammo and he got consistent key-holing every shot at 30m... It still functioned great but, just beware your rifle may not like it.
This ammo shoots great our of my Mk1/3 Rifle. I can hit Womp Rats at 100m all day.
The ammo looks great, and feeds reliably. Great plinking ammo as accuracy is mediocre out of my No. 4 Mk I. Bullet diameter is within spec so, perhaps it's bullet design leading to "okay" accuracy? For comparison: my Greek HXP was shooting reliable 2" groups at 50m and was capable of consistent man-sized torso hits at 200m.... this, not so much.
Good looking ammo at a great price. Not got to shoot any yet but I feel it will do fine. Fast shipping as well. Thanks Sgammo!!!!
I have a 1917 No1 Mk 3 Lee Enfield and this ammo is keyholing like nothing else. I have shot PPU, Remington, and Winchester without it doing this. Luckily I only bought 80 rounds. I love shooting this 100 year old rifle, but will pay the extra for PPU next time.
