NOTICE: This is M855 NATO Ball ammo with 62 grain SS109 steel core projectile, but they did not paint the projectile tip green which is normal for military contract ammo.

So the story behind this product is that it was manufactured in 2022 or 2023 in Israel for a military contract and was overrun. It got sold to me in a mixed container deal of other government contract over runs. This is true full mil-spec ammunition that was rigorously performance tested to meet full certification to all NATO standards. Given the nature of the contract it was not necessary to paint the tips green so that was not done, however this is the same basic M855 load spec that is normally green tipped and very popular for AR15s.The projectile is magnetic with a steel penetrator in the core, the case is brass, the primer is boxer. The ammo is fully sealed at the case mouth and primer pocket. The ammo comes on 120 x 10 round plastic stripper clips tightly packed in a M2A1 ammo can. There is no loading tool or adapter in the can . This is a 1-time opportunity on this option, not a product that is going to be produced regularly for the US market.
