Speer Gold Dots are second to none in reliability plus bonded ammunition is a guarantee going through barriers which is a major advantage cause you can't pick and choose where the SD situation might take place

Speer Gold Dots are still the gold standard and most widely used/issued hollowpoints for LE use. They may not expand as big as HST's or have the razor sharp petals like Ranger T series. However, Gold Dots have worked excellent in OIS incidents over the years and they just plain work. I trust my life to them everyday on and off duty along with Federal HST's. Another excellent round and one that is not only combat proven but available for an amazing price is Winchester's Q4369 Goverment Contract Overrun ammo. Sam's one of the only online vendors who still has any of these rounds left... I have 2200 stockpiled. The Q4369 is exactly the same as the FBI's .40 cal duty round/Q4355 and it's cvilian equivalent version the PDX1; However, it's sold at a fraction of the price. Sam always has excellent prices and by far the best shipping rates in the ammo industry. 85% of my ammo purchases are through sgammo.com My orders usually ship out the same day and they always arrive quickly and in great condition/care is taken to make sure it does so.
