When shooting this from my 10.5" pistol, there is a extremely noticeable lessening in felt recoil and sound. There is also no fireball from the end of my flash can, compared to M193. Oh, did I mention it's also extremely accurate? I love this ammo, and keep it in my other go to carbine length AR as a SD round.

I use this for home defense I’m my 10.5” SBR. Suppressed and unsuppressed there is a noticeable reduction in sound at the shooter’s ear. Hornady’s claim of decibel reduction is accurate from what I can tell. Good velocity and will penetrate level IIIa body armor, excellent temporary and permanent wound cavity and accurate. Inside of 200 yards this is great ammo for defense purposes. Goes in my top 6 depending on situation with Hornady TAP T2, Speer GD, Black Hills 50 Gr TSX, FBIT3 (TBBC) and Black Hills 77 gr Tipped OTM.

Very impressive high performance 5.56 ammo for AR15s. We shot cantaloupe at the farm this past weekend and you could really see the difference in damage with this ammo vs FMJ 5.56 ammo. If you want to see a melon explode this stuff will do it, massive exit and splatter. I'd use this ammo for home defense, hunting or varmint shooting.
