This stuff hammers hard if you're looking for a full power 357 magnum load for personal protection or hunting this stuff will do the job. All too many manufacturers have switched light loads for 357 magnum I just don't hit hard enough to really knock over something. I've used 357 magnum and a lever action rifle for hunting Whitetail deer in my experience the 158 gr SoftPoint Will knock them over in their tracks, I'm sure a burglar wouldn't do any better
