I’ve been shooting the S&B 124 gr .300 BLK for about 3 years now and have only had one issue out of 2,000 plus rounds. I had a couple of rounds that may not have been crimped well and the bullets were loose. I have been shooting S&B for 30 years with zero problems so I’m sure it was a random issue. This ammo is great for practice and accurate enough out to 100 yards through a 12.5-inch barrel that I’m getting about 3 MOA from a sandbag rest. My skills are average at best so a better shooter may be able to tighten that up. I definitely recommend and am buying more myself.
This has become my training round of choice. The load is an excellent 'combat accurate' match for my 4x prism with ACSS reticle from Primary Arms. So far I've shot about 3k rounds in matches and carbine classes since it was first introduced.
Bought the 1k rnd pack and shot 500 in one day during a carbine class. Distances were close but groups were 1-1.5 MOA from a 16" brl pistol gas rifle. No misfeeds using B&H 300 followers in the mags. All rounds fired with no FTF using a SSAE trigger set. All primers examined had clean deep impressions. Burns cleaner than UMC at a lower cost.
