In response to the 2019-07-27 review; I had the same concerns and contacted Remington directly. Remington stated that this loading is not listed on Remington's website, and did not provide a reason as to why. The Remington representative stated that it is loaded to roughly 1600 fps. The standard trapdoor load is identified as R4570G, with the ballistics on their website. I have shot this ammo and it is hotter than the trapdoor load, is it mind boggling...NO. I have ordered from SGAmmo a few times and have absolutely no qualms about ever buying from them based on prior experiences.
As incorrectly stated in a 2019-07-27 review, these are not the trapdoor loads at 1330 fps. These are loaded between 1600 and 1700 fps per information provided directly from contacting Remington. These are not listed in Remington's ballistic table/chart, not sure why. SGAMMO is great to deal with and have had no issues.
SGAMMO is a great company and have some of the best prices and excellent packing / delivery but... I have not shot this. I feel Ripped off. The headline says this is a FULL PRESSURE LOAD. There is no mention of the specs on SGAMMO website. I am doing some tests in a few weeks and wanted a hard core load. looking up the data I see that this is pathetic at Muzzle Velocity 1330 fps Muzzle Energy 1590 ft/lbs. In my load books this is EXTREMELY mild and not anywhere near full pressure. there are trapdoor loads that shoot this fast. I could shoot a rifle made in 1873 with more power than this load according to the lee manual.
