Great round at a great price. Will definitely order another 1000 rounds soon. Highly recommend!!
As a bit of a correction for some of our esteemed fellow customers, this round doesn't require a 1:7" twist to work well at all. It should work well out of a 1:9" for sure, and based off of a quick check using the stability calculator over at Berger's Bullets, it /might/ work for shorter ranges all the way up to a 1:12" twist, but YMMV on that. The commercial standard 1:9", though, you're golden. Since this 62gr bullet is significantly shorter than an M855/green-tip bullet, it works well down to that low. That said, like khanda311 said, this does work noticeably better (at least, less bad) in my 1:7" twists than the typical 55gr/M193 options and it's indoor-range safe! Remember, the military went to 1:7" to stabilize the M856 tracer round which was significantly longer than the M855 bullet, and thus needed the tighter twist to stabilize it reliably. 1:9" shoots green tips just fine!
Best deals around.
From the parent company of Magtech comes a great 62 grain full metal jacket 5.56x45mm round. This round is great for use in rifles that have up to a 1:9" twist ratio. If you've been looking to shoot heavier rounds in your AR but don't want to/can't get into steel tipped m855 rounds, this is the perfect option for you since this round is all lead core and is non-magnetic. CBC (Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos) is the largest commercial and military manufacturer of ammunition in all of Latin America. They pride themselves on delivering a great performing round for a great price. This round uses non-corrosive, boxer primed, reloadable brass cases. This ammo is made in Brazil
Like the customer below said, same manufacturer as the German MEN ammunition. Brass is very very clean, almost feels polished. In my experience, brass burns just as clean if not slightly cleaner than the MEN ammunition. Every round went bang and no malfunctions at all. Compared to the 55-56 grain M193 ball, this 62 grain FMJ (with no steel core) is significantly more accurate. With a 16 inch barrel at 1-7 twist, I consistently dropped .5 MOA off my groupings with this ammo out of my Colt. Keep in mind, 62+ grain ammunition needs to be sent through 1-7 twist barrels to stabilize properly. Slower twist rates will likely find the 55-56 grain ammunition to be more accurate. All in all, a very good deal on 5.56 ammunition that you can't find every day. I'd buy this over M193 ball every time, especially at the price point.
Magtech owns MEN (German) ammo. Ammo is very similar and outstanding.
