Serial number 201239 is a running, driving 2002 AM General M1123 2-door open top truck, meaning it is a soft top model but does not have the top. Aftermarket and surplus tops can be purchased from a variety of vendors. It has been given a limited test drive and works as it should in that test. We also complete check list to insure that the fluids are full, drive train bolts are tight and there are no obvious problems that need addressed, however possibilities exist that problems could go undetected. Leaks: No noticeable leaks or dripping after operation

Batteries: Two used good working batteries installed

Oil Pressure: Around 40 to 60 PSI depending on RPM (middle of the range)

Doors: Does not have Doors

Gauges: Temp and fuel gauge do not show a reading

Tires: 3 at about 80% tread, one that does not match at about 95%

Notes: Vehicle runs and drives well. I drove this vehicle at the speed of 30 miles per hour and it drove straight and as smooth as can be expected in off-road testing. A keyed ignition was installed.  The M1123 is one of the more common and popular models. A long pickup bed make this a handy truck for hauling cargo. The mileage shows 28,256 miles and is probably correct based use-indicators. The truck appears to have been repainted and looks nice. It does have damage to the fiberglass hood on the front passenger side corner, but is still a very nice looking truck.

Prices are firm and non-negotiable. These vehicles are used military surplus and should be considered 'projects' to some degree, they come in a variety of conditions and may need some repairs and are sold 'as-is'. An appointment can be made to view the vehicle in person if you want to inspect the truck before buying. The unit comes with a SF97 document and a bill of sale which can be used to obtain a title in many states. Beware and research state laws before you buy, some states will not title these vehicles at all, other states may only title them for off road use. Not for export. You must be a US citizen to purchase. ID and documents will be required. Payment must be by wire transfer or certified check, items paid by certified checks will be held up to 10 days before release. Mileage on the odometer is what would be reported on the paperwork, but should not be expected to be correct as the dash can be swapped in minutes and was commonly done by the military. We make no guarantee of mileage being correct. These are intended to be off road vehicles and are ideal for farm use and use on private land. We make no guarantees other than you will get the machine pictured and with the matching serial number, and these vehicles may not be legal or practical for on-road use where you live. All that said, these are super fun machines, I bought my first surplus Humvee in late 2021 and it was so enjoyable I had to buy more. We take the longest, hardest and riskiest work out of the process for you by selectively buying nice machines, doing all the paperwork to get approval from the government to purchase, transporting them off the government site, inspecting and filling all fluids, inspecting and the drive train, and making sure the machine runs and drives as it should, weeding out and repairing the machines that look good but have mechanical issues which can save you thousands of dollars in unexpected costs. We also endure the 6 month wait it takes to get governmental End User Certificate approval to take possession of the machine and the extremely slow process to get SF97 papers from the government. Our goal is to get you a nice running truck that you can enjoy without the hassle of enduring the full process it takes to buy these from the government. Of course these are used military surplus and by that nature they will not be perfect or like new, they can be used as-is, or used as a foundation for building for your own custom Humvee project.
